Elvine was founded in 2001 in Gothenburg by a successful graffiti artist named Daniel Mänd. It all began when he opened his own streetwear fashion store and discovered a gap in the clothing market. Inspired by his grandmother Elvine Mänd who worked as a dressmaker during the war, Daniel wanted to produce clothing that on the one hand reflected the undiscovered streetculture of Gothenburg and on the other hand was made using the traditional methods used by his grandmother. The aim was to create cool coats, jackets and parkas using highest quality materials and to remain true to the motto of the label, "sophisticated clothes for unsophisticated behavior". Now the collection also includes tops, trousers and accessories. Elvine jackets stand for durability, high quality and exciting designs.
